Tomorrow is a big day for China’s mobile industry with ZTE and Baidu unveiling their latest products. ZTE will announce the Nubia Z5, a high-end smartphone that sports a 5-inch full HD 1080p screen, Qualcomm’s 1.5GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 13-megapixel camera on the back, 2-megapixel front-facing one and so on. It’s also a thin device which at just 7.6mm is said to be the thinnest such product out there.

The other device we’ll see unveiled tomorrow is the Baidu Cloud Phone, which will be officially announced at 12:21 through a “grand” online conference. Baidu’s baby is described as “very different” from traditional phones, boasting the company’s own platform and apps that sing on top of the Android core. According to Baidu, it will be an affordable product with specs that include a 4.5-inch qHD (540×960 pixels) touchscreen and 1.2GHz dual-core processor. The Baidu Cloud Phone will sell in three color options, including black, white and red.

We should get additional data tomorrow when we’ll get back to you with new information. Stay tuned…

ZTE Nubia Z5 sounds pretty promising to me. Hopefully it will hit Europe in no time.
