Looks like Samsung won’t forget its existing Windows Phone 7.5 clientele and will rather allow them to update their devices to the latest possible version (7.8).

Windows Phone Italy has been able to confirm with Samsung’s technical department that the update is on the way.

We can confirm that our products carrying the Windows Phone version 7.5 , are updated the [version] 7.8 but will be made ??available with terms decided by Microsoft.

Again, Windows Phone 7.8 brings many of the goodies version 8 packs, including new and improved homescreen, fancier tiles and some other useful enhancements. On the downside though, we don’t have the dates when these updates will start rolling…
