HTC HD2 can run Windows RT, too!

HTC HD2 is probably hacker’s most-loved device, ever. We’ve seen it running Windows Phone 7 and 8, various Android versions, MeeGo and now it’s caught singing along Windows RT. As you probably know, this version of Microsoft’s platform is made for tablets not smartphones, so it’s nothing short of amazing.

We can’t tell you how to accomplish the same thing on your HD2, but you can follow @CotullaCode on Twitter. He’s the one who posted the screenshot above and we want him to get all the credits for pulling this off. And besides, we wouldn’t know to explain you how to do the same thing. It would be too technical and not only that we don’t understand the process, but we wouldn’t want to be responsible for your phone. In other words, you should attempt to make your HD2 run Windows RT only if you’re 100% sure you know what you’re doing. Don’t expect everything to run smoothly though, as the HD2 doesn’t have the horse-power for something like that…

    So you say it doesn’t have the power to run that…
    They said it wasn’t ever possible to run even windows phone 7.. Yet it works as good as any other real WP.

    HD2 is immortal phone :)
