Well, the New Year is here, and so is another major iOS feature fail. iPhone users are reporting that the ‘Do Not Disturb’ feature (which lets folks turn off notifications at night), stopped working sometime between the transition from 2012 to 2013. Strangely, manually flipping Do Not Disturb from off to on again seems to fix the problem.
If you’re an avid user of Apple iOS devices then you’d know that this is nothing new, as the company always seem to struggle when it comes to features having to with time based functions like alarms.
Anyway, Do Not Disturb is an awesome feature that I miss. When I used it on my iPhone, I usually had all notifications/alerts turned off, except for the important folks on my favorite list trying to reach me — only after multiple attempts, though. I hate being bothered during me time.
Did anyone have problems with this feature? Also, did the workaround fix the issue?
