MADFINGER Games released additional details of Dead Trigger 2 today, the sequel to the popular and award-winning mobile game, Dead Trigger. It was first previewed with a live demo at NVIDIA’s press conference yesterday at CES 2013 as a game optimized to take advantage of the new Tegra 4 processor.

Without getting very deep with specific attributes of the game, MADFINGER Games is confident it will be on a totally different level, far above that of the original Dead Trigger. It promises to take gameplay and intense graphics up a notch and set a new standard for both. Marek Rebas, the company’s CEO, said the sequel will be “even bigger, better and much more addictive.” Vice President of Game Content & Technology at NVIDIA, Ashu Rege, also commented on the strength of its relationship with MADFINGER Games and stated that the game ”will provide an amazing portable experience.”

The only aspects of Dead Trigger 2 MADFINGER is willing to reveal at this time are some of the graphical enhancements such as new ragdoll physics, volumetric fog, and more realistic lighting and water.

The original Dead Trigger recently achieved over 14 million downloads and has received a few accolades such as being named one of the best games of 2012 in the App Store by Apple, Best Technical Achievement and Community Choice at Unite 2012 Awards by Unity, and it currently sits in Apple’s App Store Hall of Fame. It’s free in both Google Play and the App Store.

Dead Trigger 2 will be released for Android and iOS in the second quarter of 2013.
