Cricket Wireless is the first U.S. carrier to announce a new phone this year with others most likely following in the next few days — that’s what CES is all about, as far as we at IntoMobile are concerned.
The HTC One SV will be available from Cricket starting from January 16th, when interested customers will be able to get it for $349.99. As usual, this is the price of the device alone and after you buy it, you’re not required to sign any contracts. You will, however, need some minutes, texts and data; and to that end, the carrier is offering few plans, ranging from $50 to $70, the former coming with 2GB and the latter with 10GB of 4G LTE data.
Specs wise, the One SV sports a 4.3-inch Super LCD 2 screen, Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor clocked at 1.2GHz, 5-megapixel rear camera, 1.6-megapixel front-facing one, Beats Audio and a microSD memory card slot.
