Remember the Pebble smartwatch? It has managed to cross the $10 million mark even though its authors hopped to raise just $100,000. That, however, hasn’t helped them ship the product on time and as far as we know it should start hitting backers in “early 2013.” Even before that, it will be showcased at CES when we hope to see it in some real-world action.

If you recall, this watch has an e-ink based screen, allowing it work longer than any other smartwatch out there. Moreover, Pebble also supports apps, enabling various customization options through a dedicated iPhone or Android app. Yup we want one, but first we want to test it out and we’re hoping Pebble folks want to lend us a unit for review. We’ll make sure to get back to you with our impressions as soon as we can. Stay tuned to our CES coverage…
