Sprint LG Optimus G owners are beginning to receive an OTA update that addresses some minor issues going on with the handset. The update bumps the device up to build LS970ZV9. The new software is just a small upgrade that brings a couple of minor but important enhancements to the device such as Visual Voicemail and battery improvements.
The tiny software changes just started rolling out today. However, if you’re the impatient type, who can’t wait for this update to come, then head into Settings > About phone to try to pull it manually. No worries, Sprint assured all users will get the update to their phones “within 10 days.”
Tell us if you got the update on your Sprint Optimus G? Is the battery performance much improved?
