ASUS unveiled a new tablet, one that’s not as sexy as Nexus 7, but it does cost less. The newly announced MeMO Pad will hit select markets later this month, selling for just $149. That price, however, brings “worse than Nexus 7″ screen which can display resolution of just 1024×600 pixels. In addition, this little fella’ also has a slower processor, VIA WM8950 clocked at 1GHz which is coupled with a Mali-400 GPU. Then there’s 1GB of RAM, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, 1-megapixel front-facing camera (no camera on the back), Wi-Fi connectivity, and 8 or 16 GB of built-in storage that can be further expanded with microSD cards. Plus, let’s not forget 5GB of free online storage that you get from ASUS.
The ASUS MeMO Pad will be available in few color options, including Sugar White, Titanium Gray and Cherry Pink. And no, we ain’t gonna go for one…
