Verizon’s Samsung “Godiva” caught in the wild and it won’t be the Stratosphere III

Remember that Samsung “Godiva” phone from few days ago? At that point, we’ve only seen its benchmark results and now we have the photo to add to the story. From what we’re hearing, this will be a solid mid-range device that comes with a 720p HD screen, NFC support and Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean running out of box. It’s an all-touchscreen phone that lacks a physical QWERTY keyboard and in that sense we think it won’t be the next Stratosphere (Stratosphere III) – since previous two Stratosphere phones had a side-sliding keyboard. Verizon will likely give it some other name, perhaps even making it the latest member of its DROID family. Perhaps not. We should get all the answers soon… Stay tuned in the meantime.
