Whatever your thoughts on RIM and BlackBerry are, there’s no doubt that RIM’s new offering the BlackBerry Z10 is an intriguing device. A new video comparing the performance of the BlackBerryZ10 vs. iPhone 5 has just been released, offering some insight into the new BlackBerry 10 operating system. Along with BGR’s recent BlackBerry 10 walkthrough, we are getting a good look into RIM’s new offering, and how it functions compared to existing mobile operating systems.
The new BlackBerry Z10 handset is said to be touting a 4.2-inch HD display, 16GB of internal storage, an 8-megapixel rear camera, 2GB of RAM, NFC, 4G LTE and an 1,800 mAh battery.
The new BlackBerry 10 operating system offers some interesting features, and a new ecosystem that could be a mash-up of Android and iOS features. In the video, RIM’s voice assistant app trumps Siri, and features a more intuitive app switching system than the iPhone 5. The video also highlights the app drawer, home profiles and notifications. Even though the BlackBerry Z10 is running beta software, it easily trumps the iPhone 5 in most categories.
The BlackBerry Z10 and a new BlackBerry device will be unveiled at a press conference on January 30th.
