Leaked Picture Shows Samsung Galaxy Note 8

Samsung is in a device-making frenzy. Today, pictures of the rumored Galaxy Note 8 hit the interwebz, provoking a kind of “wait, another..whaddaya call it?” moment. The Galaxy Note 8 will be toting an 8 inch screen, which is a little bigger than the quasi standard 7″ tablets that we have seen from manufacturers across the industry.

So we’ve now seen the device. What about the specs? The Galaxy Note 8 is rumored to be packing a quad-core 1.6GHz processor, 2GB of RAM, Android 4.2, a 5-MP camera, 16GB internal storage and an 8-inch 1280 x 800p display.  On the design side, the Galaxy Note 8 is a bit underwhelming, looking like most of Samsung’s recent offerings, namely the Galaxy S3, and the Galaxy Note 2. Samsung is apparently trying to come in at a little bigger of a size than the traditional 7″ tablets, while providing the processing power of a bigger tablet.

More than likely, we will get our grubby little hands on this device at MWC, and we’re hoping for the rumored Galaxy Note 3 as well. But until any official announcements are made about hardware specs and release dates, this device could be different once it sees the light of day. Picture below.
