Acer unveiled a new mid-range device, part of its Liquid series. The new Liquid E1 comes with a 4.5-inch qHD (540×960 pixels) touchscreen, 1GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of built-in storage, while Android 4.1 Jelly Bean is running the show out of box. In addition, there’s also a pair of cameras, 5-megapixel one on the back and VGA one on the front, as well as a decent 1760mAh battery. Size wise, this thing measures 132×68.5×9.9 mm and has a weight of 130 grams.

We’ve no information when the Liquid E1 will be released or how much it will cost. I would have to assume it will be an affordable device costing no more than some 300 EUR, presuming it hits Europe in the first place…
