As part of its commitment to keep developers happy, Sony released an early alpha build of Jelly Bean update for the Xperia T. As you would imagine, this is only made to be used by serious developers who have a spare device to play with. If you agree to flash your Xperia T, Sony (or IntoMobile for that matter) will not be responsible if your smartphone ends up bricked. Moreover, don’t expect everything to work after the update process. In fact, when we look at the list, we conclude that most things are not working, including voice calls, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC and so on. But wait, even if you agree to play with this alpha build, once Sony has the official update ready, you won’t be able to seamlessly update your Xperia T to the working version — rather, you’ll have to flash the previous build (Ice Cream Sandwich) before getting to Jelly Bean. Yup, you shouldn’t play with this, except if you’re 100% sure you know what you’re doing.
