You don’t necessarily have to know about Karbonn smartphones. No one does, except folks in India’s mobile industry. Their latest gig, Karbonn S1 Titanium, offers quite a bang for the back, sporting a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz, and a price tag of just 10,990 INR (about 150 EUR). Sure enough, the rest of the specs could be improved, but then again – what do you expect for 150 EUR?
Speaking of specs, the S1 Titanium comes with 1GB of RAM, 4.5-inch qHD (540×960 pixels) IPS screen, 4GB of internal storage, 5-megapixel rear camera, VGA front-facing one and a microSD card slot. Plus, let’s not forget two SIM card slots that allow folks to use this phone with two networks at once, and (almost) the latest version of Android – 4.1 Jelly Bean.
Sounds like a bestseller to me though as I’m writing this, we’ve no information whether the Karbonn S1 Titanium will ever be exported to the Western hemisphere. We would definitely like to see it competing with major brands, but are afraid that ain’t gonna happen any time soon…
