MetroPCS today announced its latest mid-range Android device, the LG Spirit 4G. The new handset carries a 4.5-inch display and it is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual core processor that runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box. In addition the Spirit 4G is LTE capable, packs a 2150 mAh battery, 5-megapixel rear shooter with LED flash and 1080p HD video capture and a 1.3 megapixel camera in the front. Those interested can snatch the Spirit 4G online and in stores today for $199 (after a $70 mail-in rebate), with Metro PCS’ budget friendly no-contract plans that start at $40 a month.
