Basic clamshell Samsung Wise II announced in South Korea

Samsung unveiled another Korea-only device which most likely won’t be available in other parts of the world. And we don’t necessarily want it, cause it’s a basic clamshell that doesn’t run a smartphone OS. In fact, the Samsung Wise II is seemingly made for seniors and other folks who aren’t too tech savvy, sporting a notification feature that sends an SMS to preset recipients in case the user hasn’t used the phone for a certain amount of time.

In addition, there’s also a pair of screens, 3-inch internal with WQVGA resolution and 2.2-inch external one with QVGA resolution; 3-megapixel camera, T-DMB mobile TV support, FM radio and Bluetooth. SK Telecom will sell the Wise II for 400,000 won, which is roughly $365. Kinda steep if you ask me…
