NetGear’s PTV300 Miracast adapter recently got a new firmware update that makes it sing along more Android-based devices. Although support for Google’s mobile platform was introduced in version 2.2.7, the new firmware (version 2.2.9 – download from here) builds on top of that to include even more users. The list of supported smartphones and tablets now includes:
- Samsung Galaxy S III (running Android 4.1.1 or above)
- Samsung Galaxy Note II
- Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1
- LG Optimus G (with Android 4.0.4 or above)
- Google Nexus 4 (Android 4.2.1)
- various Sony Xperia models with Android 4.0.4 or above
In addition, this software release also includes some other changes which are all listed at AndroidCentral…

The "convergence" is what he's most excited about, and writing about it is the next logical thing to do. He thinks that using a smartphone is what everyone who cares about their time should do.
In addition to his interests in mobile phones, Dusan also loves to experiment with the latest web and mobile 2.0 services. The idea of accessing and managing your information from any device no matter where you are simply amazes him. Whether it's an online to-do list, note taking service or a video sharing social network, he's there to try it out. He admits though, he's still searching for the ultimate web-based organizational tool, which "sings" perfectly with the mobile PIM application.
