Android-powered gaming console OUYA to start shipping on March 28

The highly-anticipated android gaming console, OUYA, will start shipping to Kickstarter backers by the end of the month. OUYA announced yesterday that is it ready to move into the final stage of product development — getting the product into the hands of consumers.

OUYA will start shipping consoles on March 28th and Kickstarter backers should get a email in the coming month with a tracking number and an estimated shipping date. OUYA is still on track for a full retail launch in June, when the console will land in stores.
