MWC 2012: Intel booth tour

Intel is pretty much desperately trying to get into mobile game. Their latest partners, Asus and Lenovo, could help them in their plans but they still have a long way to go. Simply put, ARM-based processors are used by most handset makers. And although Intel is pushing it hard, it has yet to come out with a processor fast enough to compete in the high-end market. And to excite the mobile industry press.

That could change at some point in the future, and in the meantime, Intel prepared quite a show at its booth, including a flamenco dancer to entertain its audience. Not sure that helped people wish for smartphones and tablets with “Intel inside” but hey – we gotta give them credit for making visits to their booth less dull. Here are few photos we took while there.
