MWC 2012: Intel booth tour

Intel booth tour

Intel is pretty much desperately trying to get into mobile game. Their latest partners, Asus and Lenovo, could help them in their plans but they still have a long way to go. Simply put, ARM-based processors are used by most handset makers. And although Intel is pushing it hard, it has yet to come out with a processor fast enough to compete in the high-end market. And to excite the mobile industry press.

That could change at some point in the future, and in the meantime, Intel prepared quite a show at its booth, including a flamenco dancer to entertain its audience. Not sure that helped people wish for smartphones and tablets with “Intel inside” but hey – we gotta give them credit for making visits to their booth less dull. Here are few photos we took while there.
