The hot-new ZTE Grand Memo won’t be available in a single hardware configuration. And despite the press release saying it will ship with the brand new Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, the version of the device that was on display at Mobile World Congress used the existing Snapdragon S4 Pro, which is found in many of today’s high-end smartphones.

So it looks like this big boy will be selling in few different configurations. In fact, some models may ship with NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor and some others with a single gig (rather than 2GB) of RAM, according to AndroidCentral. So, we’re not sure what to think of it. As far as I’ve understood, the processor used and the amount of RAM will depend on the targeted market, with users in some emerging economies most likely getting the lower-specced models (as they would cost less).

Kinda confusing when you think about it. Hopefully, these different versions will also have some mark in the model number to help us distinct between them…
