LG announced (press release in Korean is here) the third iteration of its Optimus LTE smartphone in its own backyard. The device isn’t that much different from the previous version, sporting the same 4.7-inch 720p IPS screen and 2GB of RAM. In addition, it also packs a dual-core processor clocked at 1.5Ghz, LTE connectivity (obviously), 8-megapixel rear camera, solid 2540mAh battery, while Android 4.1 Jelly Bean is running the show out of box.
SK Telecom will be the first operator to offer the Optimus LTE III and as I’m writing this, we’re not sure whether it will ever make it to other parts of the world. Not that we necessarily want it, now that we have the Optimus G and soon the Optimus G Pro…
