Last time we’ve talked about Inq, they were releasing a personalized news app called MATERIAL. This time they’re out with an Android launcher that wants to bring popular social networks closer to your homescreen. In fact, the newly unveiled SO.HO is a launcher app that will allow you to interact with Facebook buddies and Twitter followers (and those you’re following) without firing any application whatsoever. Many things — though I guess not everything — can be accomplished from the homescreen, making for an awesome user experience for the e-socially fierce.

The official pitch goes like this:

Just unlock your phone and you can switch easily between your Twitter and Facebook feeds without having to dive in and out of different apps, making it faster to get to what you want and ensuring you never miss what’s going on. SO.HO also makes sure the functionality you care about is right where you need it so you can tweet, update your status, like and comment direct from your homescreen. And as it’s a launcher, it allows you to experience a rich, full screen version of your social networks.

SO.HO is a free to download app and you can get it from a link below. It’s still in beta though as far as I can tell, it’s already rock solid… though it could use support for some other networks as well. That part is in development as we speak…

Gonna try this one. I would also love the ability to comment on sites from a homepage. :)
