Samsung Galaxy S4 to come with a Green PHOLED material AMOLED display and floating touch support a la Air View

We know that the soon-to-be-launched Samsung Galaxy S4 will have a number of “smart” technologies, including Smart Scroll, Smart Pause, Smart Stay and Smart Rotation. But that’s not all with SamMobile adding new information to the rumor pile.

You see, for its next flagship, the Korean company prepared a new kind of AMOLED screen, one that uses the material called “green PHOLED” which relies on GREEN-YELLOW colors to make it up to 25% more efficient (when compared to other AMOLED screens), hence prolonging the battery life. We’re not sure whether this will bring any visible differences — between this screen and the one used in the Galaxy S III — but it’s likely, this will provide equally or even great picture quality.

Another thing that the next Galaxy S will have is floating touch support, which is something only certain Galaxy Note devices have, namely Galaxy Note II and Galaxy Note 10.1. However, unlike those two, the future Galaxy S4 owners will be able to accomplish the same thing and get quick previews without S-Pen. Pretty amazing when you think about it.

Again, Samsung has scheduled the Galaxy S4 announcement for March 14th when we should get all the details, pricing and availability included. Stay tuned as we bring you more…

And the KICKER: The Galaxy S4 will as a bonus have a pad that will enable the device owner to measure blood pressure, and blood sugar levels as well as other signs regarding health. The monitoring of certain physiological signs would definitely represent an useful application for all customers from children to the elderly.

The overall versatility of the Galaxy S4 will revolutionize the gadget market in 2013.

You can ONLY imagine what the GALAXY NOTE 3 will be like later in Sept/Oct 2013…..The rest I have NO COMMENT….One thing is for sure NOTHING will ever beat Samsung in the android landscape that’s for sure…

Along with the rumored AMOLED technology, there are many new features that are rumored to be in the Galaxy S4. Personally, the one I’m looking forward to most is the 1080p display that’s so heavily rumored. The commute to and from work at DISH takes a while, so I like to kill time by streaming live and recorded shows to my phone. I do this using the DISH Anywhere app, which lets me stream when and where I want, so it’d be great to see my shows on a higher resolution display.
