Sony Mobile’s Russian arm has started sending out invites for a press event taking place on March 18th when we hope new phones will be announced. Which phones, you ask? Well our bets are on the two mid-tier devices, Xperia SP HuaShan and Xperia L Taoshan, both of which have been leaked in the past. Of course, we don’t have anything confirmed and as far as we (don’t) know, the Japanese giant may only officially launch the Xperia Z and ZL in the country. Still we do keep our fingers crossed to see new devices added to the Xperia line-up, especially after seeing Sony’s no-show at Mobile World Congress last month when we haven’t seen a single new device announced. Actually the Xperia Tablet Z was officially presented to the Western audience but that wasn’t exactly the news (since it was already launched in Japan). In any case, we’ll let you know when we hear something new on this. Stay tuned in the meantime…
