Verizon’s versions of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 and 7 are next in line to get Jelly Bean updates. First we’ve seen the unlocked tablets getting the treatment, then Sprint’s Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 got it and now it’s Verizon’s turn.
Expect all of the Android 4.1 goodies like improved notifications, Google Now and Project Butter enhancements, plus some of Sammy’s own updates. For instance, Galaxy Tab 2 7 will get a new on-screen keyboard, as well as updated softkeys; while those with a 10.1″ Tab will now see lockscreen icons.
The full list of changes is available from Verizon’s official pages: click here to read about the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 update, and here you’ll find about the changes introduced in the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1.
Needless to say, we suggest updating the second you tablet informs you that the new version is available for download…
