Looks like Verizon Wireless won’t be selling the HTC One, and will rather promote the existing HTC Droid DNA to its customers.
According to a couple of messages on HTC’s own Twitter account — which were later deleted — the Big Red carrier may opt for other devices, instead (Galaxy S4). Here’s what one of those messages said:
The HTC One will not be available on the Verizon network, but have you seen the awesome #DROIDDNA?
And while the Droid DNA and HTC One are somewhat similar, we prefer the latter. It not only has that sexy metallic body, but also a much better camera and the newer processor (Snapdragon 600 instead of Snapdragon S4 Pro). Plus, let’s not forget it’s a bit more compact phone, making it easier to carry around.
We’ll let you know if we hear something new on this. Stay tuned in the meantime, k?
