Samsung announced three new phones in China – Galaxy Trend II, Galaxy Trend Duos II and Galaxy Win.
The first two are entry-level Android 4.1 Jelly Bean handsets with specs that include a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 4-inch WVGA (480×800 pixels) screen, 3-megapixel rear camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, 1,500mAh battery and a microSD expansion slot. The only difference between the two is in the number of SIM card slots – the Trend Duos II can sing along two networks at once.
The Galaxy Win, on the other hand, is a slightly different beast, rocking a bigger, 4.7-inch WVGA screen, the same 1.2GHz dual-core CPU, 5-megapixel camera on the back, 3-megapixel front-facing camera, Bluetooth 3.0, 2,000mAh battery and a memory expansion slot. Android 4.1 Jelly Bean is running the show.
We’ve no idea whether any of these three devices will be available outside of China but it’s safe to assume they’ll also be hitting few other Asian countries…
