Google rolls out new Play Store for Android devices

Google announced today that it is rolling out a revamped Play Store for Android devices. According to the announcement, the Store will have a fresh, new look that is simple, and clean. It will have bigger images, improved recommendations and a better layout that groups similar content together. It’s designed to make it easier to find and purchase new content for your Android device.

The new Play Store should hit US Android devices today. It’ll be available for phones and tablets running Android 2.2 Froyo and higher. International customers will see the update in the coming weeks.
