Cincinnati Bell will be the first carrier in the U.S. to offer the hot-new Sony Xperia ZL. The non-waterproof cousin of the Xperia Z will be available online and in stores by May 1st when interested users will be able to grab it for $249.99 after mail-in rebate and with a two-year contract.
Just like the Xperia Z, this model also comes with a 5-inch full HD Reality Display, 13-megapixel camera with Exmor RS for Mobile, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz, 2GB of RAM, HSPA and Wi-Fi connectivity, NFC, GPS, and so on and on. Android 4.1 Jelly Bean is running the show with Sony’s own UI singing on top.
We’re guessing other operators will rather opt for the Xperia Z, which is not only able to “handle” dust and water, but is also a slightly thinner device, hence easier to carry around…
