Just because everyone’s talking about smartphones these days, that doesn’t mean there are no feature phone owners out there. Prepaid users are perhaps the “most avid” group as they often use some phones for certain amount of time when studying or when travelling abroad. To target these groups, every major carrier has some kind of prepaid offering, though some even have dedicated brands like Sprint’s Virgin and Boost. Verizon is no exception and it’s now launching a new plan for prepaid customers.
Available for $35 per month, the new Basic plan packs 500 anytime minutes, unlimited mobile data and text messaging. Of course, if that doesn’t work for you, there’s also the “old” $50 all-you-can eat package, offering pretty much everything you could possibly need… or some expensive smartphone plans.
