Some new rumored information about the still unannounced Nokia Lumia EOS with a 41MP PureView camera has surfaced. This phone is far from a secret because reports about its existence and possible specs have appeared numerous times before. The latest rumors suggest it might feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and the phone itself might be sold exclusively on AT&T.
Nokia supposedly has two versions of the Lumia EOS in testing: one with a dual-core processor and one with a quad-core processor. The quad-core would be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor. If Nokia can’t solve the battery life woes it’s allegedly experiencing with the quad-core model, it’ll have to ship the phone with a dual-core and unknown processor.
Other rumored features of the Nokia Lumia EOS is of course that highly praised 41MP PureView camera, an AMOLED display with a 1280x720p pixel resolution, a 2,000mAh battery, plus FM radio and LTE. It’ll run Windows Phone 8.
We currently don’t know anything about its launch — i.e. pricing and availability — and the name once this device hits the market is unclear as well. Some think it might be called the Nokia Lumia 1000, which does fit in better with Nokia’s tendency to include numbers in its smartphone names.
