Just when we told you about the Japanese version of the HTC One, the Taiwanese company announced the phone in China. As we’ve discovered before, this is a slightly different model than the one sold in other parts of the world. Most notably it comes with dual-SIM support, microSD memory card slot and removable back cover. You can’t remove the battery, though.
But the removable back cover itself opens up a whole new world of customizations. And HTC is taking advantage of this right from the start — they’ve unveiled the Lee Hom limited edition HTC One, which will sell for $790 sans any strings attached.
Each of the three carriers in the country will get its own version of the device: 802W is heading to China Unicom, 802D to China Telecom and China Mobile will get the 802T. Operator subsidized prices are still unknown but we do know that the One sales are starting tomorrow via local HTC online shop.
