We’ve already told you that TELUS will have problems shipping all pre-orders on time and it is tackling the problem with sweet incentive, offering users a $50 credit if they agree to postpone the shipping date for two weeks. That offer is apparently not good enough to entice a critical mass of users and the carrier is doubling down the figure. Yup, this means anyone who agrees to get its Galaxy S4 on May 10th will get $100 worth of credit.
And to make for a fair deal, users who accepted the initial $50 credit will automatically be provided the new $100 offer with no action required on their behalf. That’s super sweet and we’re now pretty confident other Canadian carriers will follow with similar deals. Simply put – if they don’t do it, TELUS will eat their lunch.
Way to go TELUS. Wish more mobile operators are doing something similar to keep its customers happy…
