“Rockstar Games Weekend” Means Big Discounts on Steam!

Before you read this, go grab Max Payne Complete Collection for $16.99!

Ok, got your download started? Welcome back!

Valve’s been dropping some great deals lately via its gaming service, Steam, and this weekend is no exception. Every day this weekend, a different Rockstar franchise will be on sale for a deep discount of 75%-80% off! Also, the whole Steam collection of Rockstar titles is discounted all weekend at 50% to 67% off of their regular prices. The aforementioned Max Payne collection comes with all 3 Max Payne games and the “Rockstar Pass” containing all the DLC for Max Payne 3. So this deal’s a scream at $16.99, 80% off of the price of buying everything separately.

If you aren’t familiar with the Max Payne Franchise, here’s the blurb for the 3rd installment:

For Max Payne, the tragedies that took his loved ones years ago are wounds that refuse to heal. No longer a cop, close to washed up and addicted to pain killers, Max takes a job in São Paulo, Brazil, protecting the family of wealthy real estate mogul Rodrigo Branco, in an effort to finally escape his troubled past. But as events spiral out of his control, Max Payne finds himself alone on the streets of an unfamiliar city, desperately searching for the truth and fighting for a way out.

Featuring cutting edge shooting mechanics for precision gunplay, advanced new Bullet Time® and Shootdodge™ effects, full integration of Natural Motion’s Euphoria Character Behavior system for lifelike movement and a dark and twisted story, Max Payne 3 is a seamless, highly detailed, cinematic experience from Rockstar Games.

The entire Rockstar Catalog is discounted, so it’s a great time to pick up a cheap copy of Grand Theft Auto IV ( or the “GTA Complete Pack” which has all 7 GTA titles from the original, top-down PC game up to the modern era -only $24.99!), LA Noire, Midnight Club, Manhunt and Bully. There are some other bundles as well, like the Rockstar Hits Collection so it’s a great time or Steam users to pad out their game collections with great Rockstar titles for only a little scratch!
