Apple is about to open its 11th store in Germany. This time they’re doing it in the country’s vibrant capital with the Apple Store Kurfürstendamm Berlin opening on May 3, 2013 at 5PM local time.
If we can learn anything from the past Apple store openings, early arrivals can expect clapping and cheering employees, a countdown as well as free T-shirts.
The store will have regular open hours of 10AM to 8PM Monday through Saturday, closed on Sundays, though on the opening weekend it will run on different schedule: on Friday, May 3, it will be open from 5PM to 10PM, on May 4 – from 10AM until 10PM, and on May 5 – from 1PM until 6PM.
The new Apple store will be located in a renovated historic building on the Kurfürstendamm near the Zoologischer Garten Berlin, which is served by both U-Bahn and S-Bahn (Zoo Station). In other words, Berliners shouldn’t have hard time coming there for the grand opening.
