According to a new rumor from SamMobile, Samsung is planning on releasing a device called the Galaxy S4 Zoom, which looks like it will be a Galaxy S4 with a 16 megapixel camera, but with slight more modest specs. The focus of the device will be the camera and zoom lens, akin to the Samsung Galaxy Camera, but with the functionality and features of the Galaxy S4. The device is rumored to have a 4.3″ qHD SAMOLED display with 8GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot that allows expansion up to 64GB, Bluetooth LE, Wi-Fi 802.11 n, A-GPS, and will run on Android Jelly Bean. While processor specs are unknown, it’s safe to assume that the device will run on either a dual-core or quad-core processor.
Samsung’s new camera phone is expected to launch this summer around June or July, and will come in two colors, black and white.
