Twitter Kills TweetDeck For iOS, Android And Adobe AIR Today

One of the best Twitter clients around, TweetDeck is facing an untimely demise of its app on iOS, Android and AIR. Twitter had announced last month that it would be sending the mobile version of TweetDeck to the guillotine, but the desktop and web versions are still intact. Twitter is also cutting Facebook integration from the remaining versions of Tweetdeck.

This marks a sad day for TweetDeck users, but there are plenty of other Android and iOS apps out there that provide functionality similar to TweetDeck. But for those of us who have been avid TweetDeck users, it may take a while to find a Twitter app that provides the functionality that we are used to.

If you’re an Android user, check out our list of the top five twitter apps that are available now. And make sure to pour one out for TweetDeck.
