Last year Nokia was launching few Batman–themed handsets and this year they’re turning their attention (and marketing dollars) to Superman with a special themed handset set to hit China later in the year.
The Finnish company will obviously use its new flagship, Lumia 925, for this special promotion, most likely touting it as Man of Steel’s perfect companion — cause it too is made out of metal (aluminum).
The phone will apparently have a Superman logo on the back as well as some Superman-themed content pre-installed. We’ve no idea when this product will be launched nor whether it will also find its way to the West. I would guess Nokia does want to bring it to as many markets as possible, though.
Inside, the Lumia 925 Superman Edition won’t be changed in any way and will come with the same 8-megapixel PureView camera on the back, Qualcomm’s dual-core processor, 4.5-inch PureMotion HD+ ClearBlack display, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable memory and a 2,000 mAh battery.
