The newly announced Acer Iconia Tab A1-810 is now available in Europe with users living in major countries like France and Germany being able to but one for 189 EUR. That money gets you a 16GB Wi-Fi-only model that also comes with MediaTek’s MT8125 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 7.9-inch 1024×768 IPS display, 5-megapixel rear camera, VGA front-facing one, 1GB of RAM, 3,240mAh battery and a microSD memory card slot.
189 EUR (about $245) is more than what Acer told us the Iconia Tab A1 will cost, but then again the company was referring to the prices in the US which [prices] are known to be lower than those in other parts of the world. As a reminder, the Taiwanese company said that the 8GB Wi-Fi-only model will go for $169 while 16GB unit will sell for $30 more ($199).
With the new A1 tablet, Acer has a potential winner which could easily hit sales of few million units all around the world.
