Twitter today has released Vine for Android, bringing the video recording and sharing service to Google’s mobile OS for the first time. The version for Android is not as feature complete as the iOS version and is missing push notification, access to the front-facing camera and more.
Vine launched earlier this year on iOS after Twitter acquired the company that developed the software. Vine now has 13 million users on iOS and its user base is expected to jump significantly now that the software is available for Android users as well. Vine is available for free from Google Play and is compatible with any device running Android 4.0 and higher. Check it out and let us know what you think in the comments.
