‘Skyrim: Legendary Edition’ Out Now for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360

If you have yet to adventure in the icy climes of Skyrim, here’s a great opportunity to get the ultimate edition of the hit game. Bethesda released the “Legendary Edition” of Skyrim today, complete with all the DLC from the last year and a half, and a handful of new added features.

Winner of more than 200 Game of the Year awards, experience the complete Skyrim collection with The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim® Legendary Edition. The Legendary Edition includes the original critically-acclaimed game, official add-ons – Dawnguard™,Hearthfire™, and Dragonborn™ – and added features like combat cameras, mounted combat, Legendary difficulty mode for hardcore players, and Legendary skills – enabling you to master every perk and level up your skills infinitely.

The collection is available on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 at the full new game price of $60. That seems a little steep, but the amount of content that you’ll get for that is huge. In the main game there are easily hundreds of hours of side quests, exploration, bounty and treasure hunting. The DLC adds a ton more content and the infinite leveling means you can play indefinitely, becoming increasingly powerful.

If you already own Skyrim, you probably own the DLC as well and the new features, while cool, might not be enough for you to plump down 60 big ones. But if you haven’t played this incredibly deep and addicting game, this is a great deal on your new obsession.
