Sprint will soon launch another own-brand smartphone – Sprint Vital. The ZTE-made device promises to offer quite a bang for the buck, sporting a 5-inch HD screen (most likely 720p), 1.5GHz dual-core processor and 13-megapixel camera on the back. In addition, this fella’ will also come with an 8GB of built-in storage, microSD card slot, NFC and a decent 2,500mAh battery, with Android 4.1 running the show.
In other words, the Vital has the guts of Sprint’s last year flagship (Galaxy S3) but this time we tend to think it won’t cost more than $100 on a two-year contract, putting bigger screens in hands of many more users.
As I’m writing this, we still don’t know when the Now Network will officially announce the Sprint Vital but with the phone renders ready, it’s likely they’re just trying to time the launch for the best possible impact…
