The soon-to-be-launched Huawei Ascend P6 has been caught at the FCC where the government-employed engineers gave it a thumbs up. Yup, this means it’s now ready to be sold on the U.S. soil though we’re not sure whether that will happen any time soon. We do know the unit that hit the Commission’s office is ready to sing along AT&T and T-Mobile due to its penta-band HSPA+ connectivity, but that doesn’t mean either of the two carrier made a pact with the Chinese company to offer the P6 to its (potential) customers.
Unfortunately, this model lacks LTE support so we may have to wait for another variant (with LTE connectivity) to take the same route before we see it hitting the store shelves in across the States.
Anyhow, we should get the few missing details about the super-thin Huawei Ascend P6 within less than two weeks at the company’s “Beauty” event. More to come…
