HTC has started sending out invites for an event taking place on June 19 in its home country, when two devices will be unveiled – Butterfly S and Desire 600. The latter has already been announced globally so we tend to think this is just HTC’s way of saying “it’s now available in Taiwan.” As for the former, we’re not exactly sure what’s that all about.
According to rumors we’ve heard, the Butterfly S will be an improved version of the Butterfly, which is known as Droid DNA in the U.S. Moreover, it will pack an UltraPixel camera on the back, LTE connectivity support, quad-core processor and Sense 5 UI. We would like to see it keeping the DNA’s 5-inch full HD screen but we don’t have that part confirmed. So we’ll have to wait for another week to get all details. Hopefully, HTC will also mention something about global availability. More to come…
