LG will be hosting an event in New York City on August 7th when we’ll likely see the Optimus G2 (or that’s just G2) announced. Of course, nothing is official until its official and we’ll rather have to wait for another month and a half to get all the details.
Previously we’ve heard that the G2 will pack Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 800 SoC, making it one of the fastest phones on the market. Existing high-end smartphones like HTC One and Samsung Galaxy S4 rock Snapdragon 600 and we still have to hear someone having performance issues.
Anyway, we’ll get back to you as soon as there’s something to add to the story. Stay tuned in the meantime, k?
