Bah. You’re better off buying some phone from a less-known Chinese company for the same money.

Peter, that’s actually not true because Chinese phones don’t have both bands required for 3G on tmobile in most areas.

I just bought this device for my 14 year old son. I’m a fan of android and I think this will be a nice entry level phone with a great price. I just couldn’t afford to buy  him a 600.$ smart phone that he would likely loose or beak. I think this is a ideal first phone. All the kids want smart phones now and this device falls under that category. So for a equipment charge of 5.00$ a month ( if you don’t buy it outright) I think its a very good deal. This phone is a ideal first phone for us folks who can’t afford buy our kids a I phone or other 600.00 device. I think my son will enjoy this first phone. Then in the future if he cares for this phone correctly I can slightly upgrade him as he gets older. My son is going into 8th grade and this device will give him all that texting talk and social media without a issue. So don’t knock this phone. I think its a wonderful option to have a budjet smart phone.! Espically for kids. They can be happy without breaking the bank. It offers everything he needs right now.Its a perfect entry level device. I’m greatful its available! Just perfect for young teens.
