Staples Now Selling Acer Iconia W3 Tablet, First 8″ Windows 8 Tablet

The world’s first 8-inch Windows 8 tablet, the Acer Iconia W3 is now available in Staples stores and online at for a price of $349.99.

The Iconia W3 runs on Windows 8 and has an 8.1-inch 1280 x 800 display, a dual-core Atom processor running at 1.5GHz, 2GB of RAM, a 2MP front-facing camera and a rear-facing camera of 2MP as well. The unit comes with micro USB, micro HDMI and microSD, has a battery life of around eight hours. The Iconia W3 comes with some Microsoft software, with Office Home and Student 2013 pre-installed.

    WOW what a bargain folks you get a nifty small Windows 8 tablet with a MS Office suite worth 140 dollars.. this is a great device for a Student to carry in His/Her bag loaded with an E-Book copy of their text books. a good device for a business man to casually check his/her documents on.. a nice small gamer tablet the Gamer developers need
    to break away from making HD games and scale their games to small Windows 8 tablets like they did for the small Android tablet., I think this is a win win device
