Google Now got two new cards – Google Offers and TV Cards.
The former is especially useful as it will remind you on saved offers when you’re near the store, which is right when you need it. Google Now will pull up the offer so you can quickly use it.
As for the TV Cards, you’ll need to have an internet-connected TV to use this capability. If that’s on place, Google Now will provide you with more information about what you’re watching. Just connect your Android device to the same network that your TV is on, tap “Listen for a TV show” and watch the magic taking place. You will get all the details about the show, like where you’ve seen some actor before, or more information about the people mentioned in the show. Pretty cool for TV addicts, I would say.
These new cards come included in the latest version of the Google Search for Android app, which in most cases comes preloaded with any Android phone or tablet. Alternatively, you can download it for free – hit the link below and take it from there.
