Sprint will release the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update for the Kyocera Torque on July 5th. The rugged device will get a number of improvements included in this version of Android like Google Now, actionable push notifications and Project Butter enhancements. Moreover, users can also expect international calling and email sync fixes, the ability to “power cycle,” as well as enhancements to sleep mode.
So if you do own the Torque and manage to keep it alive after the Independence Day, you know what to do after getting up, right? Just make sure your battery is fully charged and that you’re connected to a fast Wi-Fi hotspot to make this process as fast and seamless as possible. 😉
